The Beatles: "Good Morning Good Morning" lyrics?!

Question: The Beatles: "Good Morning Good Morning" lyrics!?
One of my favorite Beatles songs!.

I've always wondered though:

This line - "I've got nothing to say but it's OK"

Is this meant as: he has has nothing to say, but it's all right he has nothing to say/he doesn't have to say anything!? OR does it mean "It's OK" (a resassuring, but perhaps empty remark) is all he can say to those around him!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
I've always took it as meaning he has nothing to remark upon, but he doesn't mind!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It's one of my favorites too!

In the lines immediately preceding that lyric:

"Nothing to do
to save his life
call his wife in
nothing to say
but what a day
how's your boy been
nothing to do
it's up to you"

My take on it is that he calls his wife into the room, the first thing in the morning, and he has nothing to say except to ask about her son (he must have married someone with a previous child because he says "your son")!. He then states that she has nothing to do today so maybe she should contact him!.
She doesn't answer him so that is his reply (meaning that It's not his business but hers, and that's OK with him)!.
He then leaves to go to work!.

Lol, does that make any sense or am I just putting too much into it!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Good morning, good morning, good morningaaaaaaah
I never even thought about it too much, I think that its OK that hes got nothing to say!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think it means it's okay he has nothing to say not that he has something to say but it is okay if he doesn't say it!. Ouch!. You made me think today!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Maybe he meant it's okay not to have an opinion or to be apathetic!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
