I saw on blabbermouth!.com that Linkin Park(sellouts) won the MTV VMA for best rock video so I thought to myself, why not look at the nominees to see who they beat!. Guess who they beat, the only real rock band in the damn category, Slipknot!. My question is this!. What is the world coming to when Linkin Park beats Slipknot in a Best Rock anything!.!.!.!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Too be honest I rather look for music on Music Choice than on MTV, they're a joke and they wouldn't know a good song if it bit them on the you know where!. The VMA's are a joke to begin with they seem to cater more to Brittany Spears and any of the popular flavors of the week that nobody will be talking about in a year or two!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

They never play music on MTV anymore, it's all just crap!.
The music they do play is!.!.!. well the odd song by rihanna and that's all they ever play!.
Although it is mindless crap it is addictive and gets quite a lot of views and that's why they keep it!.
MTV can't even keep it's name anymore, it is supposed to be Music TV not **** TV!.
I haven't really seen the MTV awards in a while but it all seems to be based on popular opinion rather than talent these days!.

Rock is a huge umbrella genre!. Slipknot can be considered rock if you're including metal under that umbrella!.

Linkin Park is NOT a rock band!. And how does Shadow of the Day qualify to be a rock song!? It's pure pop!!! The only good show on MTV was Scarred!. And where did that go!? I remember when it first aired in the 80's It was the best music network around,(actually the only music network back then)!.Now it sucks a$$ i don't even attempt to watch it anymore!.I watch VH1 or VH1 Classics now,The only time MTV plays music is around 12:00 Midnight to 4:00 a!.m!. but that sucks to cause I'm asleep by Midnight!.Hell the Latino MTV network plays more music than American MTV!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
