Don't generalize rap music, not ALL rap music talks about the things you said it does!. Does some of it, yes, but not all of it!. By your "theory," rap music is brain washing kids to have bad manners, make them think drugs are cool and how to disrespect women!. So then its fair to say that Metal/Rock is brainwashing kids to kill people because in a couple of songs it talks about that, and Country is brainwashing kids to become alcoholics and to sleep around with a lot of women!. I don't think so, I hate when people talk about topics they know absolutely nothing about, if you don't know about it then don't speak on it!. Why aren't you talking about how bad Country and Metal/Rock are!? The Proof is below!.

its not just rap thats brainwashing i have to admit!. and it is the parents fault at young ages!. all i see on mtv is naked girls and stuff and sex and drugs and violence!. i dont like that i like rock yeah but i like music songs are poems you know they should have a message that's original!. a lot of rap sounds the same to me!. i like good bands! like the red hot chili peppers and modest mouse and soo many others that have an amazing message that you can hear time and time again!.

I actually like rap!. Just not the gangsta rap!. Kanye West and Lupe!?!?!? U need to listen to these 2 b4 u judge all rappers!!! Pharell, Fabolous and many others!!! They respect women, don't make it seem like drugs are ok!! Many people rap about drugs bcuz it's how they had to make it!.!.!.!. by selling drugs!. NO it's not okay, but it represents a struggle!. And there are some songs that make it sound like drugs are okay and bad things about women, BUT, all are not like that!.
