Because it used to show how popular the artists were before people could download music and burn CDs!. But right now it really doesn't make sense now to use sales as a measure of success because of Limewire, Napster, burning CDs, etc!. Which is why I do try and buy CDs from the artists that I really like!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
