I was a seven year old kid in the seventies wearing my bell-bottom pants and dancing to the "Saturday Night Fever" soundtrack when my older brother dragged me by my hair to his room and made me listen to "Rock and Roll Music" by the Beatles!. My life was changed forever, and I stopped listening to Disco!.

I grew up in the 70's, and I had two older brothers listening to Zeplin, Yes, Pink Floyd and the like!. They made fun of me if I listened to anything else!. in my early 20's I kept hearing the song I'll Be Around by the Spinners!. I was a soul and jazz convert there ever after!.
