As others have said, it's the "Moonlight" Sonata by Beethoven, or technically the Piano Sonata No!. 14 in C Sharp Minor, Op!. 27, No!. 2!. It is the first of three movements (the other two are not nearly so peaceful), with tempo marked Adagio sostenuto!.
