Found this online!. I'm assuming you mean with your fingers!.
"I normally use 3 fingers!. Thumb, index and middle!. While I anchor my hand on guitar body with ring and pinky!. Maybe classical player could argue about that, but for me it works fine!. Well, sometimes if I need it I use the ring finger, too!. But mostly the three fingers I said!. With my thumb I can play bass line while playing a melody with the other fingers!. If I have to play rhythm I strum up and down with index and middle together!. Then using one finger for each string you can easily play arpeggios!.
