Best and worst Dylan eras?!

Question: Best and worst Dylan eras!?
I would say the best is '63 to '66!. Included Freewheelin', Highway 61 Revisited, and Blonde on Blonde!.

The worst has to be '79 to '81!. His short-lived born again years (Saved, Shot of Love)!. As an atheist, I just hate hearing Dylan record such commercial Christian music!. Though "Pressing On" is a decent song despite its message!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
Not a huge fan of the Christian years myself, although I did love Slow Train Coming!. So, I guess I agree with you there!.

also, I agree on 63-66!. Although, my favorite album of Dylan's is Blood On The Tracks!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

1961 - 1968

I loved his debut album recorded in 1961, it may have consisted of only covers, but i personally love his interpretations of 'In My Time Of Dyin', 'Man of Constant Sorrow' and 'House Of The Risin Sun'!.!.!.!.I don't think Dylan ever made a darker record in my mind then his debut album!.

And like i said in my "Johnny Cash or Bob Dylan" question i posted before!.!.!.i loved Bob Dylans voice in the 1960s! His voice now though leaves a lot to be desired!. He just can't sing anymore!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

'64 to about 1975 are my favorite early years!. Desire is one of my favorite albums!.
i feel the same way as you about the born again stuff and his other attempts of the '80s!.
i was so scared to buy Time Out of Mind when it came out in '98, but that album restored my faith in total!.!.!. all but the 16 minute song about him ordering a boiled egg!. i could have done without that ditty!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
