the hush sound, the strokes, kill hannah, m83, shiny toy guns, tapes n' tapes, the faint, the academy is, Hard fi (i highly reccomend them) the eels, the racounters, the subways, dead poetic (some of their stuff has a little screamo, but im not a big fan which is why im suprised i like them)
just a few, and a lot of them are in the alternative area but they aren't well known most of them!. they don't all have that generic sound either that most alternative bands seem to have these days which is why i chose them!.
afraid i don't pay much attention to the rap genre
