What ever happened to good music?!

Question: What ever happened to good music!?
I'm the only teenager who likes bands like motley crue, poison, and warrant!.

I find it disturbing!.

Why'd it all die!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
No!!!!!. I love Hair Metal!!!!!!!. In fact you listed one of my all time favorite bands Motley Crue!.I love Skid Row, Ratt, Autograph, the fathers of Glam!. Aerosmith and New York Dolls!. So no you are not the only teen who wishes that good music would come back, especially 80's Hair Metal!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I'm not sure that I'd list Poison and Warrant under "good music" but everyone's taste is different!.

Right now, the general public isn't interested in that style of hair metal (not counting Crue) so there aren't many bands singing it!.

When that changes, it'll be back!. There's always a backlash against the "big genre"!.!.!.rap was the hair metal backlash in the early 1990s!. (I know people like to say grunge killed the hair bands but if you look at the top 100 of each year, it was RAP that was huge the same year on the pop charts as Nirvana not grunge in general!.) The backlash against emo and rap is building!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

wtf!? I can name about a thousand more recent bands that are far more talented and innovative then bloody Motley Crue, Poison, and Warrant ever were!

Stop being lazy and saying "all new music sucks" because it isn't true, you just have to look for it and not rely on the radio and mtv to bring it to you, all they will bring you is mainstream crap!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I find I'm surrounded by hip hop dumb asses at school and have few friends who enjoy good, metal music!.

And what happened!? People started to like the rap/hip-hop beats and chorus' and left good music to listen to crap!. The good music is still here, just many think what their listening to is good!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

No, you're not the only teenager!. In fact, almost everyday there's some teen who posts a question complaining that all of today's music sucks and that they're the only one who listens to older music!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

People never consider that stuff outside the mainstream just might be good!. Current mainstream sucks, indie rock on the other hand is amazing and better than half the bands of the 60's, 70's or 80's!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

No, you're not the only one who likes them, or anything at all, for that matter!.

I wouldn't say good music has died, but good genres have ended!. The good stuff's out there, you just have to find it!. :DWww@Enter-QA@Com

1!. your not the only teen who likes metal there are thousands on this site alone!.
2!. it died because grunge and nu-metal, the good replacment mands and rap, the genra that killed music!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

When those bands were big, we thought they were wankers and showponies!. And we were right!. In the late 1980s, when these guys thought they rocked, the band that put them all to shame was the Pixies!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well times change, now its all this stupid rap and sh-it!. It sucks but yea what can one do!?
Oh and no you not the only teen that likes hair metal, i friend is also a great fan :)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Lulz, hair metal!.

It died cuz of GRUNGE!. And then NU-METAL!. But I think it's kinda making a comeback!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i blame white pplWww@Enter-QA@Com

It was called grunge!.

Nirvana
Pearl Jam
Soundgarden
Alice in Chains
Screaming Trees

These bands are what happened!. Once these bands connected with fans the music labels, and some fans too, deserted the so-called Hair Bands that you mentioned!. Teenagers started to listen to and relate to grunge and the songs of teenage angst and awkwardness!.!.!. Songs like "Talk Dirty to Me', and "Cherry Pie" don't really stand up well to the emotional, cathartic, and person lyrics and words of Cobain, Vedder, and Cornell!.!.!.

I mean C'mon!.!.!. you have a heartbroken Eddie Vedder found in Pearl Jam's epic "Black"!.!.!. "I know one day you'll be a beautiful sun in somebody else's sky, but why can't it be in mine!?"

or!.!.!.

Brett Michaels of Poison!.!.!. "Well be at the drive-in in the old-man's Ford, behind the bushes she'll be screaming for More More More!.!.!.!.

or Warrant!.!.!.
"She's my cherry pie
Cool drink of water
Such a sweet surprise
Taste so good
Make a grown man cry
!.!.!.Cause she wanted me to feed her
So I mixed up the batter
And she licked the beater
I scream, you scream
We all scream for her

Most people grew up and moved on from Cherry Pie!.!.!.!.

****
Meaningful hair metal songs!? Name a few!.!.!. What are you gonna pull out!?

I will remember you!.!.!.!. Skid Row
Love Song!.!.!.!. Tesla
Without You!.!.!. Motley Crue!.!.!.

Let me go out in my garage and see if I can find my bic!

You must not know what a good meal is!.!.!. you have grown up with Hot Pockets!.!.!. God Bless!. Rock On Dude!.!.!. I was there when all that was new!.!.!. and trust me it was meant to fade out!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
