Guitar multi-effects pedal question?!

Question: Guitar multi-effects pedal question!?
Hello! I'm new at electric guitar and I'm planning to buy this product as my multi-effects processor since I don't really have money to buy individual pedals!. http://guitars!.musiciansfriend!.com/produ!.!.!.

My questions are:
How will I connect this to my guitar and amp!? I mean, will I need another guitar cable!?
Is it possible to connect it to my computer and change the presets!? How!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
Guitar<------(cable)------>multieffects pedal<-------(cable)----->-amplifier

That is the traditional hookup!.

However, guitar amplifiers may have send/receive jacks on the back!. If so, then:

Guitar amp send <------cable------>multieffect input
Guitar amp receive<------cable----->multieffect output

The send/receive jack is to bypass the circuitry and give you a cleaner sound!. Depending on your taste of course!.

The amp/mixer button is to toggle between hi impedence and low impedence!. In layman's terms, it means a louder (more distorted) sound or softer (cleaner) sound!. Just keep all your volumes low when experimenting, you don't want a sudden loud signal to damage your speaker cones or eardrums!.

If the pedal comes with software (which it should) then you just use a USB cable to connect the pedal to your computer and alter the settings there!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

To connect to your amp, you will need another guitar cable, the same type that goes from your guitar to your amp right now!. One from guitar to RP250, One from RP250 to amp!.

This unit has USB, so if you have a USB port on your computer you can connect it and change the presets, yes!. It will explain how to do that in the RP's manual!. You may also find that information on Digitech's website!.

Pay a lot of attention to how you set your amp while you use one of these!. Lots of gain in your amp will wipe out a lot of the sound you will derive from a unit like this!.!.!.!. try playing it through the cleanest settings you have, first!.

My brother says you can, but he won't tell me how!. You do need an extra cable for it (if it doesn't come with one)!. Some of them do come with it, and some don't!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
