What is Coldplay's appeal?!
Question: What is Coldplay's appeal!?
I hear so much about this band but I don't know much about them!. I watched them perform two songs on The Daily Show and thought it was terrible!.
But I still keep hearing about how great they are!.
So, I just wanted to know if they really are such a great band and why!. And since i don't download music, I would like to checkout their music, what would be a good album to start with!?

When I first heard them they reminded me of Pink Floyd ~ which, in a world with no new Pink Floyd music is a *very* good thing!.
I went onto buy a couple of their albums ~ Parachutes and A Rush of Blood to the Head and like them both a lot!. Even got a concert DVD and it's good, too!. Bought and then re-sold their X&Y album, so I guess that's when I stopped loving them SO much, and I haven't heard their latest album!.

I agree!.!.!.I personally prefer their first two albums as oppossed to the two newer ones!. The X and Y and Viva La Vida both have good songs but Parachutes and Rush of Blood to the Head are overall great albums!. Great mix of quiet and upbeat and I like their "accoustic" type sound a lot!.!.!.that and the lyrics are what makes me a fan!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
