Answers:
Just keep singing along to the songs that you like!. The more familiar you become with your voice, the more you will find it a natural thing to do!.
Practise makes perfect!. Maybe join a choir or amateur dramatics group so you can find your range and listen to other singers!.

You can also buy some good books to help along the way such as;
The Rock and Roll Singers Survival guide!. This is the holy bible to singers!. It has everything you need to know in there from warm up, dos and don'ts, posture, terminology and how the voice works from in-depth diagrams!.
Another one is Xtreme vocals with Harmony and Klash!. Its a very good beginners book (which i use to help me teach) and cheap too!

Good luck!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Some would go to voice training for proper singing lessons!. Others are naturally gifted with singing voice and they just mimic songs that they hear on the radio!. If you don't plan on taking voice lessons, trial and error is best!. You should try singing different types of songs, ballads are great cuz they're slower and you can practice your breathing more & sustaining your voice, but you should keep looking for your own niche!.
