i'd suggest you start out with a steel string acoustic!.!.it really helps develop those calluses on your fingers and you can start playing those easy chord songs to really start loving the instrument!. its also easier to switch from steelstring to classical or electric!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I always preferred steel!.Go ahead and get calluses and if you decide to move on to a electric,then by no means would you be using nylon then!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
get steel!.!.!.nylon strings are not always readily available at stores!.!.!.and steel sounds great!Www@Enter-QA@Com
