Answers:
Listen to what he says!. I mean really listen to the words!. The song changes, and dear momma, and Life goes on!. Just listen to his songs, and read his lyrics!. Their amazing, they have meaning, you know!? Not like this stuff out these days that are crap!.

Tupac rapped about good ****, meaningful!.

parts from changes:
"I love to go back to when we played as kids, but things change!.!. that's the way it is"
"I wonder what it takes to make this one better place lets erase the wasted"
"Take the evil out the people they'll be acting right"

Life goes on:
"But now you buried rest ***** cause i don't worry, eyes blurred singing goodbye at the cemetery"
"Pour out some liquor have a toast for my homies we all gotta die but you chose to go before me"

Serisoly, listen to his ****!. It makes since!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

2pac is overrated as an emcee but you cannot deny his street poetry it is a huge factor when being a street poet!.

Like Example as a Street Poet i'll put 2pac ahead of NaS as an Emcee I wouldn't even THINK about putting Pac ahead of NaS!.

That's Why when you make a List for Top 20 Emcee's You cannot grade 2pac on his skills of being a Deep Street Poet you have to Grade him by his ability as an Emcee Which in that case is MUCH lower!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

C'mon folks!.!.!. You real have to listen to Tupac to appreciate the art and the message it carries!.!. If all you cares is bling-bling, wheels and fame then you go listen to void, repetative half-baked rapper (They all sound the same and sing same phrases)!. Tupac represents the under-represented subclass!. He exposes inequality, injustice, poverty and other symptoms of the sickness of society!. He passes the message in a very poetic way!. Some of his songs aren't supposed to entertain rather a voice of the people he represents!.

Note: Some people will NEVER understand Tupac!. To fully comprehend, one has to put himself/herself in the shoes of those he (tupac) represented: Those who live in the hood, minority subclass, and uneducated working class without any future hopesWww@Enter-QA@Com

yeah, i don't think 2pac was all that either!. i like eminem better too but 2pac was a good rapper!.

people like him because he was a gangsta but he could also rap about sensitive topics without being viewed as a punk or a beeeyatch or worse!.!.!.!.a punk beeeyatch =(!. and he probably wouldn't be a "legend" if he didn't die!.

!.!.!.oh yeah, keep in mind that at the time, no one was on his level (except biggie but look at him!.!.!.)!. he was ahead of his timeWww@Enter-QA@Com

he died and his popularity blew up!. People loved his ghetto persona and didnt really care about his intelligent rhymes!. Actually, more rappers today are influenced by his ghetto-ness than using lyrics to show a message!. They take THUG LIFE and turn it into something it isnt (it actually means The Hate U Give Little Infants ***** Everyone)!.

IMO both 2pac and eminem are overrated!. 2pac had really crappy flow and used typical crappy early-90's beats!. Eminem was really good back in his LP stages when he literally didnt give a f*ck and rapped about mysogyny!. He had unique rhyme schemes and amazing flow!. But, he started declining when he rapped with g-unit and threw all of that skill away!. The Re-Up is probably his worst album, his originality didnt last long and he started to be a typical mainstream rapperWww@Enter-QA@Com

First off, I like eminem too!. To answer your question, Tupac had a great voice but more than that, he wrote with more sensitivity than many rappers who just boasted about how great they were in rhyme!. You need to seriously listen to "Dear Mama", "Hail Mary" and "How Do You Want It!?" as examples of his writing!. He wrote about his and others' personal agony growing up in South Central Los Angeles!. If you check out his music with an open mind, I am fairly sure you'll agree and like his music!. "Dear Mama" is one of my favorites!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I dont think he ever was famous while still alive!. He became famous after his death!. Thats what i personally think!. He was just a poet with a background song!.
I personally LOVE eminem!. Hes one of the best out their!. they named him the 3rd best rapper!.!. of course biggie then tupac then eminemWww@Enter-QA@Com

I have nothing against 2pac, but for real, his fans are really annoying!. Some people actually worship him (wtf)!. They are way too over the top!. Seriously, 2pac is overrated!. I mean, I listen to his stuff all the time too, but I'm just saying he is not as good as some people think he is!.

But he was better than Eminem, no question!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

because he made music for the people before he their was music for the people you have to look at the lyrics and listen to the message and as an eminem fan tupac is better check me out http://answers!.yahoo!.com/question/index;!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

he believed in what he wrote!. it was about true life!. just about everything that he wrote had a message in it!. true poet at his best!. read " the rose that grew from concrete" It will let you see him in a new lightWww@Enter-QA@Com

I mean no offense to tupac, i mean he was an alright lyricist but if he wouldnt have got shot he would have been as big as he is today or have been considered a legend in this business, once again no offense he just would haveWww@Enter-QA@Com

Eminem!?!?!?!? What the hell are you on!?
Anyway, He's only "the best rapper" because he is dead!. His raps really aint all that!. Rap artists triple their fame once their deceased!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

His poetry was what made him good!.
His songs had a lot of meaning!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

have you heard his songs!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

he was a poet!. guy had skill to put his heart into his rhymes!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
