no, falsetto is not always easy and when you first attempt it, it will be weak and probably out of tune but it takes a lot of practice to achieve!.
I recommend singing as high as you can until it sounds like a whisper, as if you cant sing that high anymore - because thats practically what falsetto is - and just keep trying!.
Go to your singing teacher and ask them for tips and scales (scales are important for falsetto because you have to learn how to switch it on and off)!.
If you dont have a vocal coach, go to your local musical instruments store, because they usually sell books!.
Get a book on broadening your repitoire and scales!.
