Question: Why do ignorant people think Rock is the devil's music!?

My mom said that about Motley Crue back in 1985 when I wanted to see them in concert ( i was only 14) She refused for quite some time to let me hang posters of them on my wall!. Needless to say, I went to the concert and hung the posters!!! Anyway, I just saw them again 3 weeks ago in Sacramento, ca!., and it was wonderful!. I had to laugh and tell my mom that I guess some phases in life never seem to pass, because Nikki Sixx is just as hot now as he was 23 years ago! My mom thinks it's funy that I am still so much of a fan, and she knows now that there was no harm in my infatuation with them!. She just couldn't get passed all the makeup! HA HAWww@Enter-QA@Com

Some people associate some of the visuals related to rock and metal to Satan-related themes!. And some people are just creeped out by good music!.
Of course, though, there are some bands who aren't what you'd call "holy" bands who'd be accepted in a church!. But that doesn't make them all evil!. I think some of the generally ignorant people would be surprised at the uplifing themes some bands have!.
MQ- I use a combo!. I like my iPod if I'm going to school (they're allowed to be used during study times)!. But, generally, I use CD players and cassette tapes when I'm at home!. If I'm on the computer, though, I'll probably be listening to music I ripped from my CDs!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
