Eddie Van Halen - no question! As a song writer, he is probably the only artist in history to have a top five album with three different singers!. That is a testament to all of the great Van Halen music he has written through the years!.
He is the most innovative and influential guitar player in Rock history so I take him over Stevie here as well!. If it were JUST Blues, I would take Stevie!. If we are starting a band and needed someone who can write great music, play multiple instruments, and create ground breaking solos, you have to take Eddie Van Halen! Well since I have always heard that Eddie has a ton of attitude and I am not really a fan of the "I'm the star" mentality!. Coupled with the fact that I actually knew and liked Stevie back in the old days in Texas!. I think I would go with Stevie!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
