in the 70's through the 90's he was the best drummer!. now there is no clear concise winner, as many talented drummers have entered the scene, like mike portnoy, danny carey, dave weckl to name a few!.

Best drummer I know is Dave Kincius!. Local guy in the Detroit area, and I have seen him perform a few times!. Simply amazing!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

Weckl, Anton Fig, Chester Thompson, Vinnie Colliuta(sp!?), Portnoy, Steve Smith (formerly of Journey, went on to do a bit of jazz) !.!.!.all great drummers but Peart Still tops my list!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
