Question: GUITAR PROBLEMS!?!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.PLEASE HELP!!?
I want to get a new guitar but I'm not sure where to start!. I have already picked out two guitars that I like and are in my budget!.
Which brand is better Yamaha or Fender!?
What is the least amount of things I will need to get started and what are those things!?
I am def!. looking for and acoustic!.
Any suggestions!?

Well I don't know your budget or whichever!. However what I would do is find someplace that will let you try them out!. Which feels better, which sounds better!. This will eventually become a part of you - and you will infuse it with your blood and sweet!. $50 difference in price is not a lot over time!.
The Fender is laminated mahogany and the Yamaha is Nato!. Nato is a hardwood from the Philippines that is much like mahogany!. The Yamaha says "Nato" not "Solid Nato" so it is likely to be a laminate at well!. Yamaha makes all kinds of musical instruments, Fender basically just makes guitars and guitar stuff!. They are probably both about equally as good!.
As to what you will need:
1: A tuner - A chromatic or guitar tuner!. I find the sabine MT9000 to be good - and it doubles as a metronome as well! It only cost me $20!.00!. It will get you close - then get the "wiggles" out by ear!.
2: Picks!. You will need different ones depending on your style and the style of your playing!. Get a few different ones and try them!. I started out with the big triangle ones and now use tiny little ones!. You could try finger picks if they float your boat as well!.
3: Strings!. You are going to break strings!. And strings wear out!. Don't be afraid to break them and don't be afraid to change them!. You will be amazed at how much better your Guitar will sound with new strings!. A pair of needle nose pliers with built in cutter makes stringing easier!.
4: Music Stand!.
5: Hard Shell Case!. You want to protect your baby!.
6: Strap - you WILL need this!.
Other things you might want:
Polish: You are gonna scratch the top!. This might help ease the pain!. Don't polish the fretboard nor strings!.
Music or Music books!.!.!.Lots of free stuff on the Internet !.!.!. but books are nicer!.
Time: Practice patterns, scales, chords, arpeggios!. Then learn songs!. You will improve faster this way!.
String Winder: Some people like these - I don't use one!.
Foot thing!. Might help you hold it better!.

I had a Fender and a Martin!.steel string wide neck!.!.!.One of the guys from the Cars got one(i sold it to his wife) and my friend Erik got the other and has passed!.!.!.!.!.More info than you want!.!.!.I liked both of them!.
I went to Rudys music shop,,,they had about 200 different ones there I went back a few times trying out diff ones!.!.!.!.You have to hold them!.!.!.!.!.play them!.!.!.

I'd definitely go with the Fender!. You could probably find a better acoustic out there somewhere, but you probably won't regret a Fender!. It's worth the extra money!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
All i can say is it doesnt matter what brand, whichever one sounds the best to you!. For ex I have a 2500 Taylor but i just helped my sister buy a 200 dollar gibson hummingbird "replica" i guess i should say, but anyways my point is that this 200 dollar guitar sounds amazing, rivaling many expensive guitars that i have tried out in the past!. So go with whichever one you think is right!. No one can tell you which the better guitar is without playing them!. go with your gut Www@Enter-QA@Com
