I have just started listening to Eric Clapton's music!. It's amazing! i love all of his tunes, he's an excellent musician and his songs are really to the heart!. i love him!. anyone else!? what are your views on him!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I have seen him many, many times in concert and he is amazing!!! His songs are always related to personal issues he himself went through!
I think that is what makes his music so personal to his fans---that's how he connects with us!!!
If you like to read, get his book "Clapton The Autobiography"!. I read it in 3 or 4 nights after work!. It was so revealing and honest---just like his music!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com
I was a teenager in the '60s so I listened to a lot of Clapton!. I still think he peaked in his early years - with John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, his stint in the Yardbirds, the Cream, with Delany and Bonnie, with Blind Faith, and of course with the late Duane Allman in Derek and the Dominoes!. (not to mention the tasty riffs on the Beatles "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" and a host of other people's tunes!.)
I know he's met with enormous success in various incarnations since, but he was something exceptional then - really stood out!. I actually have a hard time listening to a lot of what he's done in the last 30 years!. It just seems like there's something lacking!. Clapton is one of the best if not the best!. Check out John Mayall Blues Breakers it's where people like Eric Clapton of Cream and of Blind Faith, Mick Taylor who replaced Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones and Mac Fleetwood all got started!. Check out these LPS

umm, YES of course, he is a living legend!.!.!.a musical genius!. You just started listening to him!?!? Well you know he has been around for many decades, I guess better late than never my friend! I think that he is very good and I love his songs, but I think he is a little overrated!. I mean, yeah he's great at guitar, but I don't think that he compares to the likes of Jimmy Page or David Gilmour or even Pete Townshend or George Harrison!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
