Left Handed Piano Player?!

Question: Left Handed Piano Player!?
I have a child who is left handed and I heard that there is a device that I can connect to his electronic piano MIDI input/output ports that will flip the note order from low to high, to high to low!. I've searched on the net and was able to find a device but it is only available in the UK!.

He does his finger exercises but I guess it's just the way his brain is wired, I always catch him cheating using his left hand to play right hand key notes!.

Can anybody help!?

I don't know anything about that device, but when I was learning to play, I would cheat and play the left handed parts with my right hand!. It's just because it's easier for him!. When he starts playing songs with both hands (I'm assuming he's not doing that too much yet)!. He'll work it out!. Learning to the piano is hard!. You have to read two lines of music and basically learn how to split your brain!. You're reading two lines and your hands are doing two different things!. I bet he'll get it with practice!. I used to play the two parts separately and then slowly put them together measure by measure!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well, I think changing the keys is not a good option he should learn the normal way, because the grand pianos and acoustic you cannot do that so if your child to be a pianist in the future you have to teach him the normal way which is harder but he can learn because I speak for myself I use my left hand for certain things and when I started play the violin I was picking it in opposite but once I knew that there were no left handed violins
I had to learn the other way it was difficult, not very difficult but I got it!.
So I play the Piano normally as everyone, I never thought that the keys could be changed in the electronic piano, but that is more like a thing to joke, my advice just don′t do that!.
But I play guitar left handed, that is normal!.
So teach your child the normal way and he will get used to it!.

sorry but that's not a good idea, he will have a lot of trouble later on playing on a real keyboard if you do that now!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
