Question: Why would you feel the need to mock someone!.!.!.!?
not only for loving classical music but for many times being moved to tears by it!.
eg!. Lacrimosa, Moonlight Sonata, Wir Setzen Uns Mit Tranen Nieder (can't do the omlaut), Adagio Sostenuto, Adagio for Strings (barber), and more than I can think of straight away!.
To be overwhelmed by emotion the way the composer must have been to create it!.
I'm 27, atheist, straight, married with son so any insults along those lines won't count for ya!.

I've found that the mocking of classical music is universally done by people who don't understand or care to understand classical music!. They haven't the desire to sit still for 20 minutes to listen to any of it and pick it apart!. They don't hear intricate harmonies, interplay within an orchestra or the skill of a soloist!. They only hear confusion and you'll get comments like "it doesn't have a beat!." Since they cannot strike out directly against the composers they pick the nearest target!. (That would be you!.)
Heaven forbid that you criticize whatever genre of music they listen to!. To them it's the epitome of class and the height of art no mater how banal their selections!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

If you feel that you have to keep your love of classical music quiet, you are moving in the wrong circles my friend!.
You have a gift!. You are able to emotionally connect with the emotion of the music!. Unfortunately it is a gift that is neither understood or considered a gift by the greater part of the population!. However, you will find one or two members of the minority here on YA Classical!.

There are many reasons why you are moved to tears when you hear a certain classical composition or passage!. It could be from re hearing the piece and it brings back memories!. It also could be from the overwhelming genius and beauty of some pieces!.
That is what happens to me!. Here are a few that can bring me to tears!. Some may surprise you!.
