My tip to you is to LOOSEN UP!

=D

Let me explain!. Vibrato occurs when you sing relaxed and without tension in the vocal chords!. When you tense up your throat while singing, the vocal chords have nowhere to go, so they can't vibrate normally - this is where lack of vibrato happens!. Just like when you strum a guitar and then put your hand over the strings - the strings can't move anymore, so the sound is either cut off completely or becomes a lot duller!.

Now, the only cool thing about this is it's (mostly) a mental thing!. A lot of people unconciously tense themselves up when singing because they psyche themselves out!. You think a note is super high and you'll have to work hard to reach it, or you're nervous and scared in front of an audience, you feel uncomfortable with the song and afraid you'll get it wrong!.!.!.the reasons are varied!. It's something you have to really catch yourself doing and work on, and I'd say generally is a confidence thing!. Once you're confident in your voice/sound/song/whatever, you'll loosen up a lot more!.

Vibrato is a natural part of EVERYBODY'S voice!. It's not a mythical, rare thing, I promise!

My last piece of advice to you is don't worry! You're 15 - the voice doesn't even stop developing completely until your mid-20's, and as long as you're getting vocal training and trying to resolve this, you'll be FINE!.

So, in summary:
~Everybody has vibrato - there is NO SUCH THING as "no natural vibrato" in a voice
~Generally, vibrato issues are caused by unconciously tightening the throat while singing, thus leaving less room for the vocal chords to vibrate!.
~Talk to your music teacher (choir director, whatever) and ask him/her for help!. I'm certain they can be of more specific help than I can!.

Good luck!Www@Enter-QA@Com
