Alternative aspiring musician: Where do I start?!
Question: Alternative aspiring musician: Where do I start!?
I'm a young musician, and I'd like to get properly started!. I know I sound a bit stupid with this, but if anyone has any advice for getting myself known or what recording equipment to use and the like, it'd be much appreciated!. I may sound immature, but I honestly can't see myself doing anything else!. I thought I'd ask for help before I set about doing it myself!.
I play piano, guitar, sing and anything else I need (Bass guitar, synths, etc!.) so any advice on mixing would be helpful too :)Www@Enter-QA@Com

Get your self a Mac with "Logic" installed and a midi keyboard!. Then make some demos and send them off to A&R people at record companies!.
One thing is though!.!.!. a lot of other people have the same idea and very few people actually manage to make a successful career out of music!. So be prepared in case you dream doesn't come to fruition!. Make sure you have other strings to your bow!. By the way University is an excellent place to meet other musicians and form a band!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I started out with a very very basic program called n-track studio's!. Right now I have a Lexicon Omega with Steinberg Software!. It works for me!. I'm a brass player and I mike myself up!. I'm not sure how it would be with guitars!. It's great with singing!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
