I was in an airplane and I was sitting next to my mom!. The jet engines are very loud, you know, so I had my iPod turned up full blast so I could kind of hear the lyrics!. I happened to be listening to D'Yer Ma'ker [by Led Zeppelin]!. My mom was pointing something out to me in SkyMall so I leaned over to look!. My ear was right up against her ear, so she got an earful of "oh, oh oh oh, oh, oh, you don't have to go-o, oh oh, oh oh!.!.!." and she turned around to me and said, "Kitty, what the h*** are you listening to!?!"
And another time, I was downstairs in my room and I was playing the Rain Song (live SRS version) relatively loud through the speakers!. It was at the part where it goes, "I felt the coldness of my winter, ooh yeah, I never thought it would ever go!.!.!. I curse the gloom that set upon us, upon us, but I know that I love you so!. Oh yeah, feels good, feels good now!.!.!." Anyways, it's the loud part of the song, and it happens to be my favorite!. So I was singing along (I mean, why not!?)!. My mom walks in about half way through that (I couldn't hear her coming down the stairs because, like I said, the music was pretty loud but not loud enough for the people upstairs to hear it) and she says, like in the airplane, "Kitty, what the h*** are you listening to!?!" 2004 in Iraq I bought a old blues guitar from another marine who was heading home!. One night in the tent about 10 us were just doing our thing when I broke out with a few blues riffs and just improvised the lyrics about our commanding officer who at the time decided to enter the tent just as the chorus rang out and when that bullet flew by I felt relief but sighed because my gunny done pissed his pants!.!.
