most of the singers lip sync, due to tiring dance moves or bad facial shape whilst hitting hitting the notes!. also there is somthing called sing along where the singer sings along with the original and out shoots some notes on purpose to look live!.
and the only way to tell wether its lip sync , is if you notice a diffrence in the bands preformance and or the singers singing,!. in 80% of non lip sync live preformance a change occures due to technichal diffs!. or bad timing, or bad leveling,Www@Enter-QA@Com

if your talking about the jonas brothers then yea, im pretty sure they have faked their 'music' in every way possible by now!.!.!. they have the simplest songs but i have seen videos where they dont even try to look like their playing instruments!.!.!.its sad that most people dont notice it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
It's more common nowadays!. The bands/singers that are lip syncing are usually the ones who also have a dance routine while having to sing which might be too much for them so they decide to lip sync!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
