Question: What kind of effects do Syn Gates and Zacky Vengeance use!?
I've been listening to avenged sevenfold, and they seem to have a unique style to them!. Especially in the Bat Country solo!. Can anyone tell me what kinds of effects they are using, or what amps can create those effects!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

SYNYSTER GATES
Most, if not all, of Syn's guitars are custom made SChecter models!. Syn uses Seymour Duncan SH-8 Custom Shop Invader pickups in his guitars and also a sustainic pickup in the neck!.
There are a bunch of different amplifiers that he uses but the most common one is the Bogner Uberschall and Cavenman!.
For the speaker cabinets he uses Bogner Uberkab 4x12" cabinets
He uses a bunch of different effects:
-Boss TU-2 Chromatic Tuner
-Boss CS-3 Compressor
-Visual Sound H20 Chorus/Echo
-Ibanez TS-9 Tube Screamer
-Frantone "The Sweet" Distortion

I have watched a lot of behind the scenes stuff, and them live, I also have their dvd and they have a $h!tload of different amps for recording and live!. the only thing that seems to stay the same is that they use schecters!. also, some of their "signature" sound comes from playing so high up!. compare the bat country solo to sweet child oh mine, they have almost identical tone!.
