Question: Should I feel bad for listening to the song 'I kissed a girl' by Katy Perry!?
I feel bad because the song sends the message that it's okay to be gay or lesbian!. I know that it makes homosexuality okay and people that feel like outcasts but I was raised as a Christian!. No I don't think so!. You have to realize it is just for entertainment purposes!. People put way to much power in to the music than they should!. If a song says "Go sleep with a 100 women" doesn't mean I should and it's a terrible song!. I think that people put blame on music so that don't have to blame themselves for their actions!. So should you feel bad no, the music is for entertainment, but if you decided to go out and "Kiss a girl" then that's when you may start to feel bad!. But who knows might say "I kissed a girl and I liked it"!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I personally don't think there is anything wrong with being gay and I love the song, well at least until the radio plays it out and kills it like they do every other good song!.
but anyway if you were raised that way I respect that decision of yours and even if I don't believe in in I don't see a reason to hate you for it just like even if you don't believe in what the song is saying you don't have to hate it
someones sexual lifestyle doesn't define them and should not be the reason you don't like somebody!. It's like if your favorite color is blue but your best friends is red, that doesn't mean your going to hate them you just disagree and you move on end of story!.

I don't know what to tell you!.!.!. I am also a Christian and don't think homosexuality is right so I don't listen to the song!. I just don't enjoy it becasue I know it goes against what I believe!.
But!.!.!. I have a few friends that are also Christians and believe the same thing and don't seem to care that they listen to it and other songs with unappropriate content!.!.!. Really I guess its your choice when it comes down to it!. When I think about whether I should do something or not I always think to myself "Will this strengthen my relationship with Jesus or will it take away from it!. By doing this am I showing others why following Jesus is the way to go, or am I keeping them from a relationship with Jesus Christ!."
One main thing for me is that I want people to come to Jesus and to do that I want to set an example and show people that eternal life with Jesus is better than anything else in the world!. I want to show them that I live by the bible and that gives me more happiness than people can ever have by doing things that aren't right!.
