Can't remember the name of a goth rock/metal band like Evanescense... help?!
Question: Can't remember the name of a goth rock/metal band like Evanescense!.!.!. help!?
A couple of years ago, a band got some radio play that had a similar look and singing style (Gothic Rock) to Evanescense!. The lead singer looked like Kate Beckinsale in Underworld, that's the best I can remember about her!. I have completely forgotten the name of the band, I just know they came out around the time that the last Evanescense CD was released, and I kept thinking "What good timing to be such a similar band releasing a new CD"!.
Anyway, I hope someone with some Rock knowledge would know what band I'm talking about that is fronted by a female with a male backing band, dresses like Amy Lee and sings gothic radio rock songs!. Because I have struggled all day to remember and cannot!.

Evanescence released their last album around 2006!. Within Temptation released their last album around 2007, and Nightwish released albums in 2005 and 2007!. But they're from The Netherlands and Finland, respectively!.
Maybe it was Xandria, they're German!.

These bands really aren't alike though!. They all play a form of rock and have female vocalists!. That's about it!. Any fan would know that Evanescence has a "darker" tinge to their music than Within Temptation does (although I love WT and can't stand Ev), and Nightwish has a darker tinge than Ev does!.
Again, I don't see the resemblance between Amy and Sharon, but eh!.

Nightwish is symphonic power metal, Within Temptation is symphonic rock, etc etc etc!. I could go all day!. But even though these aren't gothic bands, people still classify them as being one so I figured I'd include them all anyway!.

I think it might be Within Temptation!. The singer in WT looks a bit like Amy Lee and they are Gothic Rock!.
EDIT: It could also be Nightwish, but they are more metal than rock!. And I don't think that they are played on the radio that much!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
