Question: Does anyone know if Iron Maiden's "Hallowed Be Thy Name" is based on a true real life story/execution!?
I know Steve Harris wrote the song!.!.but dunno much of the details!. Is it based on someone who was executed in real life, who before his death shouted out the words "Hallowed be thy name"!? And what does "Hallowed Be Thy Name" mean (sorry I am not very religious)

while i'm not a "die-hard Maiden fan" i can lead you to those who are!. this website is phenomenal!. i use it whenever i am curious where an artists gets ideas for a song from!. fans come and post their ideas about it, and it's up to you to decide who to trust the most, but it's interesting at least!.
