I think Reba McEntire will go down as one of the two greatest country female vocalists of all time, the other being Patsy Cline!. She is, to me, the Queen of Country Music, and I respect and admire her tremendously!. I just can't even begin to describe how much I like her!. One of the reasons is that she has so much class and elegance!. She is the consummate professional in whatever she takes on!. She constantly challenges herself!. She is extremely hard-working-a value she learned early on working with her parents on their Oklahoma ranch!. She overcame many obstacles to get where she is but she has never forgotten where she came from!. She is proud of her roots and relishes in the fact that her family struggled while she was growing up because it taught her the values that she would use later to succeed in her career!.
And her amazing talent!. She is the most brilliant interpreter of a song!. She can take a song and squeeze every emotion, every feeling out of it!. You believe every single word she sings!.
