Metallica was and forever will be one of the greatest thrash metal bands to have ever lived!. They have done a lot for music, and as artists all they are doing is simply making music as they have always done!. They are not "selling out" nor are they "starting to suck!." Artists are entitled to change their sound once in awhile!. Why are so many people surprised that Metallica has changed in their 27 year run!? Be more open minded!. People change!. The new stuff rocks!. And no one wants monotony!.

i'll always respect what they've ALREADY done for thrash metal and most future subgenres but I can't respect their last few albums!. When I think Metallica, I always imagine in my head the group broke up right before St!. Anger was supposedely releasedWww@Enter-QA@Com
If the new album could compare to master of puppets or ride the lightning I would be excited but it will probably suck like their last three!. And when Machine Head opens up for them everyone will know what metal is!.

I really like the OLD Metallica!.!.!.their classic thrash metal sound, and what they did to popularize it!.!.!.however I hate the NEW Metallica!.!.!.their stuff became too mainstream!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
They have done a lot of for Metal!. Although, their newer work isn't great I still think their awesome!. I'm excited for the new album I hope they don't disappoint!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
