Any smoking affects your vocal chords - thickening mucus, decreasing lung capacity(making it harder to breath which is a must in singing)!.!.!. A little bit will affect your voice, but it's the more consistent smoking that will have a more long term affect!.
Drinking coffee, dairy, etc!., also affects your vocal chords, creating extra mucus, drying throat, constricing throat & vocal chords!.!.!. I just don't do that before I'm going to sing!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

YES!. SMOKING ANYTHING EFFECTS YOUR SINGING VOICE!. Smoking anything effects you lung capacity, your vocal cords, the muscles in and around the throat, your diaphragm!.!.!.I'm honestly not sure how much more or less it effects the voice than a regular old cigarette, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's more!. Bottom line, if you're worried about your singing voice, I wouldn't put anything to smoke, be it legal or illegal, in your mouth!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

My ex was an awesome musician and singer!. He smokes for years and I saw him again and heard him sing!. Was nothing like he used to be!. Doesn't mean he couldn't have it back if he didn't take better care of himself!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
