Even though it's not a great word to be using, I don't think non-blacks should use it!. I don't agree with "KK", about minorities, he sounds like a minority trying to justify his use for the word!.

I don't use it, but they can use it if they want (Black, White, Asian, Mixed, Whatever)!. I've seen about every race use the word!. I just don't understand how it's "different" if someone who isn't Black says it!.

i've seen latinos call each other the n-word!. i'm not really for or against it, because a lot of latinos just think they're black, not much you can do about it, but the last time a latino actually called me the n-word, i whooped his a$$!. he was trying to be cool with me, but it doesn't always rub me the right way when they say that!. some need to just realize they are not black and stop trying to act it!. For me no person should be using it, but because of how engrained into the black community it has become, I realize that isnt going to happen!. That being said, since blacks are going to use it regardless, they should be the only ones to use it!. It doesnt even apply to people of other races, and it sort of pisses me off when I see them using it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
i agree with mars!. i am white but i have plenty of friends that are black and the way i see it is if they can say it then so can i!. i've asked all of my black friends if it offends them when i say it and they all say no!. and when i say i have plenty of black friends i mean i have a lot, i've lived with a black guy before, i've been to black ppl's family reunions and even rode in the family car at a funeral when one of my best friend's dad died!. all of my black friends say i'm not white i'm just light skinned and that's good because ppl shouldn't see color!. i don't!. i've worked at a mexican restaraunt and sum of my best friends are mexican!. and anyone can be a ni66er, white black asain or even purple the word means idiot and were not in the days of slavery or major discrimination anymore!. that's just how i feel and like i said before if anybody wanna be a hater because of the way i answered this question i don't give a f@ck!. because honestly more ppl need to think like me!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Why do people act as if Blacks are the only race that refers to themselves in derogatory terms!? From my time in the military and work experience I've heard other races (including whites) refer to themselves by terms that would be considered racist if uttered by someone of another race!. I'm kinda with RakimKoolgAzNas, and TLC!. Fat Joe uses it cause he thinks he's black, also D!.J!.Khaled!.!.!.!.(whoever he is)!. I'm sure they could come up with other slang terms to use to represent their culture!. WE as blacks still take an offense to it because it was used as a derogoatory term for us back in the day, and is still used the same today!.!.!.just not as loosley!. So in essence, yes it's offensive when others use it even to greet one another!. But on the other hand, it does mean ignorant like TLC said, and that's why I chose not to use it any longer!.
