Halford has a wider vocal range than Bruce does, and i love their music!. But i have to side with Maiden!.
Personally Maiden's music appeals to me more, and as a bass player, the bass parts are much better!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Iron Maiden!!
Because they are an awesome set of musicians, they just can't make a sucky song!. I even like their imagery - the whole Eddie icon thing, I just love Iron Maiden!. Judas Priest had 1 song that I liked, Breaking the Law, and I can't listen to it everyday, they just annoy me for some reason!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Wow, this is a hard one!. Personally I like Maiden a little more especially when it comes to their earlier stuff!. But Priest really flew the heavy metal banner proudly at a time when nobody else "wanted" to be described as a metal band (early 80s before Maiden really took off)!.
I would have to say Maiden, but I really really love Priest also!. And I think that Priest has written better songs over the past ten years or so!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

maiden all the way!. i have to say that since i have mummy eddie ripping his way out of my back as a tattoo!.
priest is good too, although i've seen both in concert and i have to say that maiden puts on a better live show!.
i see priest on 8/31 as part of the metalmasters tour and can't wait to see if halford can still hit all the high notes!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I cant decide!. To me they're totally different bands!. Maiden is metal, Priest is hard rock!. Both equally awesome!.

Both are flat out amazing, but I gotta go with Iron Maiden!.!.!.!.just like their songs better and I prefer Bruce Dickinson's voice (although Halford is phenomenal too) - this is just a cruel question :)Www@Enter-QA@Com
