What would producers and rappers do without sampling music? Nearly every song is!

Question: What would producers and rappers do without sampling music!? Nearly every song is sampled!?
Can't producers come up with most songs on their own!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
Yea they would probably use live instruments more!. But I dont think is bad!. It keeps the legacy of the original artist going and it turns people on to new kinds of music!. The sample that 9th Wonder used on "Lovin It" is what got me into The Stylistics!. I love them now!. But sadly, sampling is looked down opon by people who dont understand!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Producing is an art that should be appreciated in music!. You make this statement as if Hip Hop is the only genre to sample!. Some classic R&B songs also sampled jazz and other forms of music!. Rappers jobs are to take the material they are given and develop a song around it, so rappers wouldn't be affected by not using samples!. There are many producers who don't sample, but more do than don't!. Hip hop was partially developed by using samples, kids used to rap over records that were being played, therefore sampling has still remained a vital part of the culture!. It's not a bad thing, especially when you understand that a producer can hear a note or two in a song and craft beats around them!.

Edit: Kanye uses one style of sampling, but you obviously are unaware of the many other ways that sampling is used!. There are probably songs that use samples that you don't even know about!.

Run DMC - Peter Piper - http://www!.youtube!.com/watch!?v=FzuZtOvzo!.!.!.

Bob James - Take Me To Mardi Gras - http://www!.youtube!.com/watch!?v=D9I3GEA1B!.!.!.

Sampling has been a part of hip hop since it's inceptionWww@Enter-QA@Com

Not all songs!.!.!.Only most of today's singles!.!.!.

As for what they would do is create a new sample & match it to a simple 4 beat drum loop!.!.!.or they would use live bands

But still i love todays sampling products witch sometimes gives a second wind to a song that can reach more then a single generation, Like Akon's Mr!. Lonely for example!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

They would produce albums/songs like Jazzmatazz, Buckshot Lefonque, Dred Scott's "Check The Vibe"!

Because actually there's tons of groups who use instruments!. In fact live bands were the thing back then (Melle Mel "Pump It Up", Whodini "Friends", Afrika Bambatta Ft!. James Brown "Unity")!.

BTW, you mean to tell me you never heard of the Neptunes!? Many of thier tracks are not samples!

Outkast (Organize Noize), E-40 , Ant Banks, Too Short, Mannie Fresh, Rza, 8 Ball & MJG, Goodie Mob, Run DMC, Dr Dre (you think "Murder Was a Case" is sampled!? no!) Timbaland, ect also have many tracks w/ out any samples!.

And actually, one of my favorite songs of all time is by J-live!. "Charmed Life" (Jazzy Jeff), "The 4rth Third" and "All of The Above" (produced by Dj Spinna, another personal favorite!)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

SagSoulStar says:

LMAO!!!! Wow!.!.!.you're so done!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

(Clears Throat) Hip Hop was created off of samples!.

Therefore it is natural for Hip Hop Producers to sample!.

At least they sample the original track not make cheap remakes like all those Pop & Rock Stars!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
