Nah, my favorite band will remain my favorite band, even if I stop listening to them for a while (rarely does this happen though)!. Or for a while another band might seem to overshadow my favorite, but they won't really be my favorite!. If I decide I have a new favorite band it just changes on the instant!. Or rather, it will change on the instant, I think!.!.!. I haven't changed my favorite band ever since I first had a favorite band (the Beatles)!. I may not always feel like listening to them at the moment, but I will always love them and go back to them!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I still consider them my favorite band!. My affections in music can waver greatly over time, even days (I went from Metallica to Coheed & Cambria to Ludo to Velvet Revolver and back to my favorite group in the past three) But Billy Talent is still my pride and joy of favorite groups!. My myspace profile background doesn't change every week, and I'm just starting to change my account on here!. But I am not a obsessive crazed person, unless its with BT!. Hahaaa!.!.a!.!.!.!.a!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. sorry!. I hate to say it but its true!. I have seen every video of theirs that isn't a horrible kid covering songs on youtube!. All the live performances, all the interviews, everything!. And I'm an information and picture whore!. I can tell you pretty much everything off the top of my head!. Its sad!.

I seem to enter "Music Taste Phases" where I LOVE one band for maybe 2 weeks - a month, then I discover something else (or listen to something I USED to listen to) and that becomes my favorite!.
It kind of annoys me because I wish I could just have a ton of different favorite bands!.

I have been thinking about this recently!.
I would always call my favourite band my favourite even if I hadn't listened to them in a while!. Because I held their music in higher regard than any other, I knew more about them etc!.
I would have an 'all time favourite' band and a 'current favourite' band!.
At the moment though, it would be difficult to give a definite answer!. I'm having a 'crisis of favourites' of sorts!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

I'll always have 3 favorite bands that I can't go a day without listening to (Behemoth, Megadeth, and Strapping Young Lad)!. But I do get obsessed with different artists for a week or so!. Its just my mood that affects what bands I listen to day to day!.

My 5 equal favourite bands and 3 favourite artists are 'fixed'!.
