Maybe something along the lines of Rhapsody or even Cradle of Filth for something a little less Power Metal and a little more Black Metal!.
Neither of these bands are really that mainstream though, and neither replicate the signature Maiden sound!.

The first time I heard Primal Fear, I thought they sounded like a combo of Judas Priest and Iron Maiden!. Here's a LIVE cut of the song Angel In Black when it was released in 2001!.

Well they were awesome in the 80s!. Decent in the 90's until Bruce dickinson left the band in the middle of the decade and they had that
Blaze dude sing for them, which made them suck a bit!. But when Bruce came back in like 2000, they were good again!. They never really changed their style though besides the lead singer thing!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

NONE!. most of the music today is for the "CANDY" kids of america!. There is no more true talented music in mainstream!. All the true talented musicians are underground or play locally!.
