Are you going to be singing it to her, playing it to her!? Perhaps if you are going to perform it, and you are well versed in your instrument/voice, you could make your own composition!. Nothing says "I care for you" more than your own words from the heart!.
If you are just going to play the song, "Hey there Delilah" is a great song, or maybe the last song from the Juno soundtrack!. Generally women are forgiving too, so as long as you put out your best effort and choose from the heart!.!.!.they will be gracious enough to see the great amount of effort you have put into thinking about them!. well i suppose its not a typical "love song" but it entails the theme of love and being together!. oh and its screamo so it definitely doesn't sound like a typical love song!.
