Lets see!. Public Enemy had 2 undisputed classics in It Takes a Nation of Millions and Fear of a Black Planet; 1 arguable classic in Yo Bum Rush the Show and 1 really good album in Apocalypse '91!.
Wu Tang had 1 classic - 36 Chambers, 1 good album in Wu-Tang Forever and a bunch of mediocre to piss poor other LP's!.
Now if you include the solo Wu albums then it becomes a closer battle!. But I still say Public Enemy, they revolutionized hip hop!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It's Public Enemy all the way, and I'm a huge Wu fan as well!. As the person before me said, PE had more classic to good albums!. Even PE's later stuff like "He Got Game", There's A Poison Goin' On", or "How You Sell Soul" is better than the later Wu albums!.
And if you want to count the Wu solos then you have to count the PE solo and side projects like Chuck's solo album!. Griff had some good solo stuff plus there is Confrontation Camp, 7th Octave, and Fine Arts Miliita!. While none of that is quite "Cuban Linx" or "Liquid Swords", it's very good music that most do not know exists!. It's definetly better than most Wu solo stuff!.
PE is way better live and they have been trend setters from the beginning with they lyrics, beats, and touring!. They were the first to do the home videos!. Their tour with Anthrax was a big first for rap/rock tours!. They also were the first music artist to release an album in MP3 format with 1999's "There's A Poison Goin' On!."

wu tang for sure, theyre so insane, i never really appreciated em till i was walking home one day and i was really listening to their ill beats and killer raps, theyre ultimate, public en is cool too but wu tang is legendary, and i think public enemy is a different kinda rap than wu tang since the time era was different, theyre both crazy in own ways but WU FOR LIFEWww@Enter-QA@Com
