Is 13 too late to become a classical musician?!

Question: Is 13 too late to become a classical musician!?
I would like to become a professional violinist and one day be in a well known orchestra/symphony but with my starting late is there a chance of that even happening!? i'v been playing for about 8 months and taking lessons for 4 months my teacher was going to drop me because I was too much of a begginer but decided to keep me later on because she thought I had potential right now we're doing 3rd position on the A and D strings, staccato and going into vibrato a little bit,my staccato could use some work but my teacher says that I have a good ear and a nice tone and rhythm
I don't know if that additional info helps any!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It sounds like you have the passion - a huge dose of it - wow, there's no stopping you! Musical passion plus dedication is a potent mix, a magical formula that makes musical dreams come true!.

I was fifteen and a half when I started learning the flute, with serious ambitions to become an orchestral musician!. Two years later, I was accepted into the Conservatorium!. After a few years, I switched to bassoon and realised my own dream of playing in professional orchestras!.!.!.

Thirteen!? You've got your whole life ahead of you, lucky thing!. Just believe in yourself and work hard, and you'll definitely make it!.

And, most importantly, enjoy your music!

Nope! That's probably the best part about classical music! It appeals to people of all ages and can be played by people of all ages!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Sorry you have to go Rock if your 13Www@Enter-QA@Com

O my goodness no!. This is a great age! If you practice and really work on your skill level, you'll be prepared for your college auditions at a great music school!. There's plenty of great classical musicians who started just like you!. As a matter of fact, I didn't get interested in classical music until I went to high school!. So you are ahead of the game in that respect!.

However, don't look for being famous!. Look for what you can bring to the table!. Value your ability first, work on being the best violinist, and the rest will come in time!. People who seek fame in this genre often find themselves confused and lost!. True classical musicians don't do this for fame!. Especially when pop booty shake songs are so far removed from the classical genre!. That doesn't happen for us anymore!. You'd be surprised at how many people DON'T know who Yo Yo Ma is!.
