Question: What is your interpretation of the term "rake" in Don William's song!?
What is your interpretation of the term “rake” in Don William’s song
“Rake and Ramblin’ Man”!?

I work in construction so I could interpret it as a deviation from a horizontal plane; therefore, I am wondering if it means a person who deviates from the straight and narrow road since the song is obviously about character!.

Answers:
Down South a man who is a rake is considered a man of immoral behaviors!. Examples:

A rake is a man who seduces a woman, gets her pregnant before leaving her to face the consequences alone!.

A rake is a man who spends all of his money on alcohol, women and pleasure, often ignoring his debts for this pleasure!. He enjoys lavish spending!. (likes to play big shot when he is not) Www@Enter-QA@Com
