In an interview given in May 2007 to Kerrang!, Muse stated that work on a new album and new songs, some more in line with electronic or "dance music" and others more with classical or symphonic music had begun!. The band are also thinking of hiring an orchestra for some of the tracks!. They also revealed that the next album should be self-produced, in order to have more freedom!. In an interview in a January 2008 edition of NME, Matt Bellamy stated that he is not sure of what format the new songs are going to take, stating, "it may just be albums, but it may be a stream of singles, or it may just be one 50-minute symphony, do you know what I mean!? Who knows!?" The new songs will be released sometime in 2009!. Bellamy also said in an NME interview that he wanted to do a "15 minute space-rock guitar solo"!. [37]

TRIVIUM:
In June 2008, Trivium stated that they had named their new album Shōgun!. This was confirmed by a YouTube video which included the words "September 30, 2008"!. This implies that the album will be released on this date!.

GREEN DAY:
In an interview with Kerrang!, Billie Joe revealed that 2008 would "be a fair estimate of the release date of their new untitled eighth studio album!."[33] In October 2007, Billie Joe announced more on this new album, saying he had been writing new material on the piano, and had around 45 songs!. He stated he wanted the new music to dig into what he's feeling at the moment - which is middle-aged!.[34]

LOST PROPHETS:
On the 14th August at Sheffield's Carling Academy, Lostprophets performed a new song called "These Streets of Nowhere" for the first time!. At the Main Stage of the V Festival in Chelmsford on August 16 and Stafford on August 17, Lostprophets performed "These Streets of Nowhere" again!. Ian told the crowd that the song will appear on the next album, which will be released next year!. He also apologised about the length of time taken in making the album!.[22]

In a recent NME interview, Gerard Way said the band's next record would be a rock album saying "I think (the next album) will definitely be stripped down!. I think the band misses being a rock band,"[29]

The band announced in a blog on their website that they would be going on a final tour in the USA before going to a break!. At the same time, they announced they will be releasing a live DVD/CD collection titled The Black Parade Is Dead! which includes two concerts in October 2007, the final Black Parade Concert in Mexico, and a small show at Maxwell's in New Jersey!. The DVD/CD was meant to be released on June 24 in the US and June 30 in the UK, but the date was postponed to July 1 due to a technical fault with the Mexico concert!.[30]Www@Enter-QA@Com
