Joe Walsh, better with the Eagles, James Gang or solo?!

Solo, by a LONG shot!.

Why: He wasn't with the James Gang that long to make a big enough impact!. And, although I dearly love the Eagles, let's face it, Don Henley and Glenn Frey don't have enough of a sense of humor to allow Walsh to record a song like "I!.L!.B!.T!.s" with them!. also, the Eagles tend to be the "Don and Glenn show" with other members given their "token one song" to sing (in all the years he was with the Eagles, Don Felder only got to sing ONE song -- and it was a duet!), so Walsh doesn't get a chance to shine as a singer/songwriter!.

I think they got Walsh for his guitar work more than his songwriter, which is a shame!. Listen to "Birdcall Morning" or "Help Me Through the Night" (which Don and Glenn sang back-up on) and you'll see the man is a tremendously talented, and underrated, songwriter!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

The James Gang! Just watch this, it's ridiculous:

i've been a longtime eagles fan, and though i love Walsh, i like henley's solo material more than walshes, so i prefer walsh with the eaglesWww@Enter-QA@Com

Even though I like "In the City" and "Funk #49", nothing Walsh wrote in the Eagles or James Gang comes close to the wittiness of "Life's Been Good"!. I say his solo stuff!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

SOLO

"I make hit records my fans they cant wait, they write Tim letters and tell Glenn Don's great"
