Question: I'm looking for the title to a 50s song!. !?
It's from an old 50's era comp tape that my grandparents had back in the day!. but now we have no idea where it is or what it was called, or even who made it!. I really love this song!. It's a slower song, and its about a guy yelling at the ocean to give his girl back!. Something along the lines of her running into the ocean and being swept away!. possibly after some argument with the boyfriend!. any leads or suggestions would be much appreciated!! Www@Enter-QA@Com

It MAY be Johnny Cymbal's "The Water was Red" (the girl is a shark attack victim)!. Unfortunately I can't seem to find anything on YouTube or a sound sample but there's a link below with lyrics!. Cymbal's othe big song was "Mr!. Bass Man" (linked below) so if it sounds like the voice you remember then I may have solved a mystery for you!.
