22 fret guitar Drop C question?!

Question: 22 fret guitar Drop C question!?
Hello people!. I have an 22 fret electric guitar and I want to tune it to Drop C!. I made a quick search on the net and found out that 11-52 strings would be good for this tuning!. However the lower strings are loose and they flop a lot!. Is this because my guitar's scale length is shorter than a 24 fretter !? What gauge would you recommend for not floppy strings on a 22 fretted guitar!? Thanks in advance!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
my suggestion would be to use baritone guitar strings!.!.!.even though i have never done this before it makes sense!.!.!.cos b is lower than c so it wouldn't be as floppy i guess!.!.!.

but good question and im waiting for the best answer also!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

If it's real floppy, like 'surely it shouldn't be this floppy' kind of floppy, is it possible that you can continue to wind it up and the more you do then suddenly you find that it is like 'starting again' and then you have a tight in-tune string!. Make sense!? Have you ever noticed that while tuning a guitar!? And no, I have no idea what drop c is but I can tune a guitar!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

it doesnt matter what gauge your string are becuase i have normal guage strings and i tun to drop c all the time lik for 'bring me the horizon' and 'a day to remember' you just need to tune it right, go to http://www!.get-tuned!.com/guitar_tuner!.ph!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
