Question: Need help fast!!! Cello stuff!!?
ok, so I am very new to cello, and i am new to music to!. My music is from the alwin schroeder book!.!.!.!. so, it has the little cello sig, then it has a curved b which i think is the flat sign!. then it says 34!. How do I know which note is the flat!? the start of the music is just cello sign, b, 34!. need help fast!!!!!!!!!!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com


Answers:
The "cello sign" that you see is called the "Bass clef"!. It signifies which register the notes are in!. For example, violinists usually read music that is written in "treble clef", which have higher pitches than the bass clef!.

yes, the "b" is a flat sign!. You'll notice that the flat sign is over the line for a B note, and so all of the B notes in the music need to be played as B flat!.

The 3/4 means there are three beats in each measure (the measures are divided by vertical lines), and each quarter note (hence the 4) gets one beat!.

If there is one flat sign it is f major or d minor!.
Is the 3 on top of the four!?
It is probably 3-4 time signature!.

What line is the b on!?
Whatever line it is on is what note is flat
