I think they should be able to write, sing, and play their own music!. They should be able to grow along with their fans and their style should change, but the music should still sound like them!. A good band has musical influences, but doesn't try to sound or sing exactly like them!. Being honest and passionate about the music is most important, don't make music that the public or record companies will like!. Make music because it's important to you, and make the music you want to make!. If people hear the music and love it, that's a plus!.
As for looks and personality, that's not something you should judge music by!. Though a band that's nice to look at isn't a bad thing!. And as for personality, if a musician can make the music and use their star power to do something good that's a good thing!. There are plenty of bands out there that are raising awareness and money for all kinds of causes, some are even personally taking time out of their lives to visit impoverished areas!. But if a band is ugly and all the members have terrible dispositions I can't say that will stop me from buying their cd if they make good music!. Being well-rounded and having talent, passion, looks, and personality will definitely help though!. Hope I could help!Www@Enter-QA@Com

If Led Zeppelin's members were just big fat blobs I would still love their music so talent is number 1!. I don't look that much to personality unless they are complete pricks or something!. I love when a band plays very well and even changes/adds some little things cleverly in good songs just to be different when they're live, like how Jimmy Page plays Stairway live at the Song Remains the Same concert!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
firstly a good band must have talent!.without talent there is no point in anything!.looks doesn't matter much !.stage performance is must cos' they have to guarantee us entertainment!.regarding personality,if the musicians are down to earth then it's more than sufficient!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Why does it matter what they look like!? Bands are for listening to, so I'd say they'd have to be able to sing, play all the neccesary instruments, and write lyrics that actually mean something!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
looks dont matter 4 me (look at the jonas brothers they suk but a lot o people like em cuz their "hot")!. song writing is the most important imho!. i like that they actually write about things that matter!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
