Huge fan here! Seen 'em live at least a dozen (maybe more) times during the 70's!. I still own all of their vinyl, including a sealed limited edition silver vinyl pressing of Rock & Roll Machine!.
I remember seeing them play the various bars in Toronto like 'The Gasworks' when they were starting out back in the early 70's!.!.!.!.same with Rush, and Moxy!. As a matter of fact, Moxy's original drummer back in their bar days was Gil Moore!
I actually took the same jazz course at Humber College as Rick Emmett, though a year earlier!. My younger brother studied with Rick at Humber in 1973!.
My favorite albums are their first self titled, and Rock & Roll Machine!. I just picked up their live in concert DVD form the 1983 'US Festival' in San Bernardino, California, which I also attended for days 2 and 3!. Nice re-living those memories!
I saw Rick Emmett play here about 6 months ago at a community hall!. It was his 'Rick Emmett Plays Clapton' tour, and what a great show! Nice small venue too!
